About the DU

The University of Delhi, informally known as Delhi University, is a collegiate public central university, located in New Delhi, India. It was founded in 1922 by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly.Campus Law Centre (CLC), University of Delhi is one of the oldest and most prestigious law schools in India.

CLC and Globethics.net initiated the process of entering into MoU between the Globethics.net and Delhi University by signing a cooperation agreement on 5 July 2019.

Globethics.net Foundation, based in Geneva (Switzerland), is a global foundation with a focus on Ethics in Higher Education and activities in all continents, including Globethics.net India for ten years.

About the Workshop

CLC, DU in collaboration with Globalethics.net Foundation, Geneva is organizing a two-day workshop on Ethics in Legal Education on 13-14 September 2019 at CLC.

The objective of this workshop is to present and discuss key aspects of ethics in legal education and profession; present tools and materials and discuss strategies for teaching ethics in higher education; and look at the present and future challenges in cyber law and cyberethics and how it can be included in legal education.

Number of Participants: 50 law teachers

COURSES IN DELHI UNIVERSITY

Who can apply: Teachers from CLC, other departments of the University of Delhi and other universities.

Registration: Through email until 7th September 2019. The filled registration form shall be sent to ethicsinlegaleducation[at]gmail.com.
