Mukherjee Nagar clash
Following the clash that broke out on June 17,2019 between Delhi personnel and a Sikh father duo in Mukherjee Nagar, the Delhi High Court had sought an interim report from the Delhi Police.
Appearing for Delhi Police , Advocate Satyakam while submitting the interim report submitted that even if the conduct of the Sikh father son duo was aggressive, the police personnel should have exhibited more professionalism and patience, the police personnel aggression was a retaliation against the behavior of Sarabjeet. it is also submitted that all the ten policemen involved in the scene have already been identified and transferred by the Joint Commission, Delhi Police to the first battalion of the Delhi Police. it was stated that Delhi Police’s crime branch was investigating the FIR lodged by the victim and the cross FIR filled by the police.
