About the NIA
The National Investigation Agency(NIA) is a central agency established by the Indian Government to combat terror in India. It acts as the Central Counter-Terrorism Law Enforcement Agency. The agency is empowered to deal with terror-related crimes across states without special permission from the states.
National Investigation Agency invites application for the post of Public Prosecutor on contractual basis initially for the period of 1 year.

Number of Vacancies
All over India
- Degree in Law from a recognized University.
- 7 years of experience as an advocate in conducting criminal cases or 7 years’ experience of state judicial services or Legal Department of state or central government.
- Basic knowledge of word processing on computer and internet.

The duly filled in applications, in the proforma available on the MA website, may be sent by Regd./ Speed post, so as to reach to the Dy Inspector General (Adm), NIA Hqrs, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi -110003.
The last date of receipt of applications is 30th September 2019. The applications received after the last date will be summarily rejected.
