Drugs and Cosmetics (Second Amendment) Rules, 2019 notified
Central Government notified The Drugs and Cosmetics (Second Amendment) Rules, 2019 on 10-01-2019, after consultation with the Drugs Technical Advisory Board (DTAB), in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 12 and Section 33 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 (23 of 1940), to further amend the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945. These rules shall come into force from 10-01-2019.
Amendment in the Principal Act :-
In Rule 43A, for the word “Tuticorin” the words “Tuticorin and Kamrajar Port”; and for the word “Gandhinagar” the words “Gandhinagar and Mundra Port” respectively shall be substituted.
