About Paperless Moot Court Competition

Amity Law School, Noida, Amity University Uttar Pradesh is pleased to announce the 9th Edition of its Annual Flagship Event, Amity International Moot Court Competition, 2019 (5th Paperless Moot), scheduled to be held on 18th and 19th October 2019.

Theme

The theme of the moot problem for the 9th Edition shall deal with International Criminal Law and the matter would be in argument stage before the International Criminal Court.

Cash prize, awards and certificate of merit shall be provided for the following categories:

Best Team
Runner-up Team
Best Memorial
Best Speaker
Best Researcher

Team size and other information

A team shall comprise of 2 speakers and 1 researcher and only the designated speakers shall be allowed to participate in oral rounds.

The researcher shall not be allowed to participate in oral rounds, except without permission from the organizing committee. There will be a Researcher’s test in which only the designated researcher can participate.

Registration Procedure

To register for the Competition, kindly confirm your participation via email to the Organizing Committee at aim.alsn2019[at]gmail.com with the attached Registration Form and Travel Details Form.

Kindly note that the deadline for the submission of the soft copy of the Registration Form and the Demand Draft is 1st September 2019 and the Hard copies of the same are 8th September 2019. Any query can also be directed at the same email address.

Fee Details

For Indian teams and for teams participating from SAARC Countries the registration fees shall be INR 5000/-through a demand draft in favor of ‘Amity University, Uttar Pradesh’ payable at ‘Noida’ which must reach the Organizing Committee latest by 8th September 2019.

All foreign teams (excluding teams from SAARC countries) shall be required to pay the US $165 or 115€ as registration fee.

The participating teams shall be required to send a demand draft for the registration fees along with the duly filled registration form and the same shall reach to the institution on or before 8th September 2019.
