Prof. Dr. Mukund Sarda passed away, Dean New Law College, BVP Pune

Professor Mukund Sarda, the Dean and Principal of New Law College, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, has been a guiding star, lightening the path for thousands of students as well as the faculty members. He has been a pillar of strength for BVP Pune. Passed away on 10 April 2019.

He became the Principal of New Law College BVP Pune in the year 1991 at a very young age of 25 years.He was triple gold medalist at LL.B., LL.M, and Ph.D. His academic excellence is acclaimed by the experts in the field of law. He had the rare honor of being invited at Oxford University on 18 March 2009 to deliver lecture on “Media & Law”.

He did his Doctorate from Osmania University(Gold Medalist), LL.M. from the University of Pune(Gold Medalist) and LL.B from Marathwada (Gold Medalist).
