AILET PG is one of India’s most acclaimed law entrance examinations for admission to the one-year PG/LLM course at National Law Delhi.

The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) for admission to the B.A.LL.B. (Hons.)/LL.M. and Ph.D. Programs at the National Law University, Delhi. AILET 2024 is to be conducted in 10 December 2023.

How To Prepare For AILET PG 2024?

The modified syllabus of AILET 2024 for LL.M. Programme is as follows:

  • The entrance tests for LL.M. Programme will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) based only.
  • The test paper will consist of 100 MCQs with each question carrying 1 mark.
  • All the 100 MCQs will be from the different branches of Law.
  • The duration of the examination will be 120 minutes.
  • Negative marking: There will be a Negative Marking in AILET 2024. The criteria for negative marking will be based on the formula 0.25*4=1 that means per wrong answer 0.25 Marks will be deducted. Therefore, four wrong answers will lead to a deduction of one (1) mark.

  • Previous year analysis of the paper indicates that Criminal law, Law of Contract, and Jurisprudence, carries maximum weightage.
  • Constitutional Law and International are other subjects in AILET PG that hold good weightage. Be thorough with all its concepts, as there will be analytical questions in the LLM exam.

Failing to clear the first section means that the remaining sections will not be assessed, so it is not necessary to prioritize the subjective section over the objective section.
