Union Public Service Commission invites online applications for the recruitment for the post of Public Prosecutor CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.

Essential Qualification(s)
Public Prosecutor
A. EDUCATIONAL
Degree in Law of a recognized University.
Note Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
B. EXPERIENCE
Seven years of practice at the Bar in conducting criminal cases.
Note:- The qualification(s) regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Caste or Schedule Tribe, if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancy reserved for them.
Age
Not exceeding 35 years for General Category candidates as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 35 years for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates,38 years for Other Backward Class candidates, 40 years for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as on normal closing date in case of vacancies reserved for them.
