About AU Delhi
Ambedkar University Delhi, formerly Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University and often referred to as Ambedkar University Delhi or simply AUD is a state university established by the Government of the NCT of Delhi through an Act of the Delhi Legislature. The University began functioning in August 2008.
About the BA in Law and Politics
The BA programme in Law and Politics at AUD introduces students to the dynamism of the legal and political field, which extends beyond the study of formal institutions.
It will explicate the productive entanglement of law and politics and the manner in which they co-constitute and generate each other.
The undergraduate programmes at AUD offer students a wide choice of courses.
Tuition fee of Rs.1,44,000/- (@Rs. 1500/- per credit i.e. Rs. 24000/- per semester) + Rs.5000/- (one-time, refundable caution deposit) + Rs.500/- per semester for student welfare fund.
If a student opts for extra credits, an additional fee of Rs.1500/- per credit will have to be paid. Partial/Full fee waiver and scholarships are available.
Full fee waiver of tuition fee will be extended to students belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories.
Eligibility
The candidate must have passed the class XII or an equivalent examination from a recognised Board and secured the minimum cut-off marks prescribed by the University.
Total number of seats: 50 seats at Karampura Campus
Admission details
The selection will be based on merit on the basis of the marks obtained in class XII, which will not include any vocational subject.
Reservations norms of Government of NCT of Delhi will apply.
Location: SLGC is housed at AUD’s Karampura campus
Application Fees: Rs. 390/- and Rs. 150/- (for SC/ST/PwD) per programme.
